To get ready for BFCM with Easify Custom Product Options, set up three things: gift wrap and badges so each order is worth more, conditional logic and live preview so fewer orders go out wrong, and a date picker so you only promise dates you can meet. Each one is a setting you turn on inside an option set.
New to BFCM planning? Start with what BFCM is and when it falls in 2026. If you haven’t created an option set yet, set up your first option set first.
What you’ll set up
| BFCM problem | What helps |
|---|---|
| Orders are smaller than they could be | Gift wrap checkbox, Option Value Badges |
| Orders arrive with missing or wrong details | Conditional logic, required fields, live preview |
| Shoppers choose delivery dates you can’t meet | Date picker with lead time, blocked dates and cutoff time |
| You don’t know which options are working | Analytics: sales performance, conversion funnel, best option sets and values |
Sell more per order
Add a gift wrap checkbox
Gift wrap is an easy add-on for BFCM shoppers buying presents. In Easify Custom Product Options it’s a checkbox option with a fixed fee.
- Open your option set, or create one under Option Sets.
- Add an option and choose Checkbox. Name it something clear, such as “Add gift wrap.”
- Set the price to a fixed fee.
- Assign the option set to the products you want, then save.
- Open a product page and confirm the checkbox appears and the price updates when it’s ticked.

Point shoppers to your best choice with Option Value Badges
Option Value Badges mark specific choices with a small badge such as “Best Seller,” “Hot” or “Limited,” or any message you prefer. During BFCM, that helps shoppers notice the choice you most want them to pick.
Add a badge to the option value you want to highlight, then save and check how it looks on the product page.

Send fewer wrong orders
Keep forms short with conditional logic
Personalized products often have long forms. Conditional logic shows a field only when the shopper needs it, so nobody fills in engraving details for an item they didn’t choose to engrave. You can also mark an option as required so orders don’t arrive with missing details.
- Create the option that controls the rule, such as a radio button named “Add engraving.”
- Open its settings and enable Conditional Logic.
- Set the rule. For example: if Add engraving = Yes, show Engraving style.
- Save the option set and test every choice on the product page.

You can also show options based on the Shopify variant a shopper picks, using Advanced Conditional Logic. Here’s the full conditional logic guide.
Let shoppers see the result with live preview
Live preview shows the shopper’s text or uploaded image on the product before they order. That cuts down on “is this what I’ll get?” questions during the rush.
- Create your personalization option, such as a name field or image upload.
- Open the option and go to the Product Personalizer tab.
- Turn on Enable live preview.
- Adjust the settings. The preview panel shows how the product will look on your storefront.

Only promise dates you can meet
Personalized orders take longer to make, and BFCM volume makes that worse. The date picker lets you control which dates shoppers can choose:
- Lead time: use the “Disable dates before” setting to stop shoppers picking dates you can’t meet.
- Blocked dates: block holidays, weekends or days you’re closed.
- Cutoff time: hide same-day or next-day dates once your daily deadline passes.

See how to set cutoff times or block holiday dates on a date picker.
Test before the rush
Before Nov 27, place a test order for each option on a phone and on a desktop. Check that:
- every option appears correctly in the order and on the packing slip,
- conditional fields show and hide as expected,
- the date picker blocks the dates you meant to block,
- gift wrap adds the right fee.
Conclusion
For BFCM, use gift wrap and badges to lift order value, conditional logic and live preview to prevent mistakes, the date picker to protect your deadlines. Set up the ones that fit your products first, and test them before Nov 27.
One honest limitation: Easify Custom Product Options is an options-based app, not a visual design or mockup editor. If your products need a drag-and-drop design canvas, a dedicated designer tool is a better fit.
